Reduction of Scan Cycle time from seconds to milliseconds, in the process of manufacturing heliostats

ROSPA, thanks to the experience acquired over the years in process automation, was able to reduce the time of the Scan Cycle from seconds to milliseconds, during the process of mirroring the heliostat.

With this, it was able to improve productivity exponentially during the construction of the project CRESCENT DUNES (desert of Tonopah – Nevada – USA), a solar plant of three-dimensional concentration of 110 MW.

ROSPA Componentes y Servicios contributed to this megaproject with the design of the manufacturing process, genuine and optimized, which managed to reach manufacturing productivity ratios not achieved so far.
